This one-of-a-kind leather handbag is created with luscious black deer and luxurious black hair on hide. It measures 12″ wide at top opening, 12″ deep and 18″across at widest point.
Rough natural edges add wonderful texture and interest giving it a somewhat rustic, yet elegantly Western feel. Handbag is fully lined, two pockets and one magnetic center closure.
The 18″ handles are made from latigo leather which is wonderful to the feel, very durable and add to the uniqueness of this piece. Handbag can be carried or slipped up your arm and carried at your shoulder. Hand cut, tied leather fringe pieces are strategically placed on both the handles and the body of the handbag along with long dripping fringe from both sides and bottom of this handbag.
The “treasure” on this creation is the vintage solid turquoise buckle on the front of the bag paired with a Patty Baldwin Design wire wrap turquoise crystal on the back. Legend has it that the Native American Indian dance and rejoiced when the rains came. Their tears of joy mixed with the rain and seeped into Mother Earth to become Skystone or turquoise. The turquoise stone is believed to carry with it great truth and wisdom.
